    Laundry Attendant will be responsible for: washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items according to established cleanliness and quality standards. Operate commercial washers, dryers, and pressing equipment, check items for stains or damage, and maintain a clean and organized laundry area.

    Load laundry items into washers, regulate machine processes and the volume of cleaning agents with consideration for the specific needs of different fabrics and materials. Remove items from washers, sort and fold or hang as appropriate. Perform other related duties as needed. Will report directly to the Housekeeping Manager at GIMC.

    At least 35 hours per week. Varying number of hours per workday depending on shift. Monday to Sunday, 8am to 5pm or 4pm to 11pm. Exact work schedules will vary depending on the worksites and shifts. OT up to 8 hours may be available. No minimum education required. Must have at least three (3) months prior full-time experience as a laundry attendant, dry cleaning worker, housekeeper, or a similar, related occupation.

    Must be able to lift and push laundrycarts weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to tolerate prolonged periods of standing and working. Employer may conduct pre-employment criminal background checks. Work will be performed at multiple worksites in Horry County, SC. Wage will be no less than: $13.74/hr. OT Wage at least: $20.61/hr.

    Workers paid biweekly. Employer will provide assistance with finding housing. On the job training provided. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company's sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. Single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the workers' paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work.

    Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment.

    The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence provided at a rate of at least $16.28/day during travel to a maximum of $68/day with receipts. H2B Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).

    Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job, and guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12 week period of total employment period.
